

Jori S. Beck, PhD, Associate Professor of Research Design, Methods, and Analysis
began her career as an assistant professor of teacher education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also served as an associate professor of secondary education at Old Dominion University. She has been published in teacher education journals such as Teaching and Teacher Education, Journal of Teacher Education, and Review of Educational Research. In addition to her work on teacher residencies, she also researches issues around teacher leadership and teacher candidates’ use of data. She is proud to be a product of public schools and values her relationships with her local school division.
Nelson Mandela

Jori is a staunch advocate and supporter of neighborhood public schools. She is a product of public schools and a first-generation college student.

Jori has won multiple awards for her teaching as well as her efforts to support diversity and inclusion. Relationships are central to her work as a professor.

Jori has published in some of the top journals in her field including Review of Educational Research, Teaching and Teacher Education, and Journal of Teacher Education.
